The Rocacorba Collective Premier League Team not only race for Zwift at the highest level of performance, they are also our Directrices Sportives. Every season they coach, encourage and mentor the racing members of the Collective. They impart their wisdom and know-how, helping the different racing category women become the best version of themselves. Meet them here…

Rhian Denton

Hey, I’m Rhian, and I live in Surrey, UK.

Alongside my full-time job in Talent Acquisition, I organise rides and racing leagues on Zwift for the Collective.

My cycling journey began in 2019 after completing an Ironman, and I first discovered Zwift during lockdown. After joining a few Liv & Rocacorba Cycling social rides led by Ash and hearing her vision of creating a Womens Team on Zwift, I was instantly hooked and joined the Collective from day ONE. I never thought I would be racing and competing at this level!

I love structuring my training on Zwift to get the most out of each session while keeping it safe and effective. But nothing beats mixing things up with outdoor rides through the beautiful Surrey Hills or escaping to Spain for some sun and smooth roads!

Kate Mccarthy

I am a road and e-sports cyclist based in New Zealand. When I’m not riding my bike I’m working as a police officer.

I got into e-sports through my partner who got Zwift for his winter training. It looked like fun to me so I jumped on as well.

My favourite route is Alp Du Zwift. It always hurts but it’s always so satisfying when you get to the top and get to fly back down it!

Something about me…one of my all time favourite movies is Hunt for the Wilder People (it’s a kiwi film). I named my dog after the main character - Ricky Baker.

CATHERINE COLYN

Hey, I’m Cathy!

I’m a professional gravel racer and I live in Paarl, South Africa. When I’m not racing I work as a freelancer in the digital marketing & recruitment space.

I first got into Zwift due to the Zwift Academy as it was a way to get to the world tour ranks. From there, I raced in the Grand Prix and then joined the Collective.

My all-time favourite route on Zwift is the Tour of Fire and Ice route!

LUCY YOUNG

I am an ESG Due Diligence Manager, based in Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦

I was a competitive horse rider and hockey player in school and university, and I still actively compete in dog showing. During Covid I took up triathlon, and after racing a full Ironman in 2023, I transitioned fully into road cycling and haven’t looked back since!

The thing that I love most about Zwift is it allows me to nail my interval sessions without having to search for the perfect outdoor hill or dodge cars.

I am a massive fan of Tempus Fugit—it’s fast, flat, and perfect for settling into a solid rhythm for longer interval efforts.

Something interesting about me is I have been a National champion gold medalist in three different sports— Horse riding, Dog Showing and Cycling. Also a fun fact: I won the Continental Championship Stripes before winning the National Championship Stripes, which is usually the other way around

ashleigh moolman pasio

Hi I’m Ashleigh - professional cyclist for AG Insurance Soudal, advocate for women’s cycling and a firm believer in the power of positive change.

Cycling has helped me grow in strength and confidence, shaping the woman I am today, and now I’m passionate about paying it forward. I love sharing my love for cycling with those around me, staying transparent and empowering others to embrace their own strength.

When I’m not on my bike or working to make a difference, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking, or spending quality time with my husband Carl and our dogs, Luna and Teddy.

Fie Østerby

Hey, I’m Fie and I’m based in Girona since 2019 where I am self employed running a cycling business with my partner - this means I spend a lot of time riding bikes with happy cyclists in Spain.

I started on Zwift during lockdown in Spain in 2020, where we couldn’t go out for 7 weeks.. I joined Rocacorba Collective almost from the beginning.

I regularly do some of my high intensity workouts on Zwift and my favourite route to do so, is Tempus Fugit!

HELEN mckay

I'm Helen. I didn't really do sport at or after school, then in 2010, I did a sportive and found the devil in me!

Ever since I have raced, and raced and raced in real life and online with varying degrees of finesse and success.

Cycling and racing have brought me some wonderful experiences, memories and friendships. That's what keeps me going, and prompted me to join Rocacorba Collective. At the minute I'm DS for the mixed C team. It's brilliant getting to know them, see their strengths and witness PB’s being smashed each week.

Something you wouldn't guess: I was once in a break with Joleen D'Hoore. It was just the two of us out front. Does that make it a romantic getaway?

Roos Duijn

I’m a human movement science PhD researcher with a focus on biomechanics and a former elite rower. When I'm not on the bike, you can find me outdoors in the garden, diving into sports science, or watching sports. I started Zwift-ing as a way to maintain structured training. A teammate from my outdoor cycling team invited me to the Rocacorba community, and I quickly got hooked on the racing and the amazing community!

My favourite Zwift Route is Sand and Sequoias - I love the magical threes in Titans Grove!

Something quirky about me…I love collecting and reading Donald Duck strips, including the really old ones from the 1960s. They always put a smile on my face - there’s more wisdom in those childhood comics than you might think!

cat ridgway

I'm a cycling instructor based in SW London so I spend my time teaching children to ride bikes. I've been cycling since 2020 and joined Zwift racing through my local club, BellaVelo in Autumn 2020. Before that I was a rower for nearly 20 years competing at a wide range of local, national and international events.

Zwift racing has been a great way of feeding my competitive bug alongside managing family life and my 2 children's busy schedules.

I'm very happy to be able to help out DS-ing the B-Men this season. They've given me a lovely warm welcome and some cracking racing!
